‘God Father’ is ‘Great Grand Father’. ‘God is Supreme – God Father is Extreme’ – goes the catch line.

‘God Father’ has already gained very good hype before release for triple role of Upendra and famous cameraman of South India Sriram directing the film with Soundaraya Jayamala making debut.

Now the addition strength it gets is Samarth Venture Prasad distribution, comforting the producer K Manju on his investment, topnotch exhibitor N Kumar (who is also producer and distributor) joining the release of ‘God Father’  has made it ‘Great Grand Father’.

The happiness of the prominent persons connected to it was evident when they held the pre release media briefing on Friday night.

This type of film was possible from only Upendra. He has given full cooperation in the 80 days of shooting. I have to settle some balance of payment which I will be settling it after release. The film has come out in Hindi range. Out of one lakh fifty thousand cranked bringing it to 14000 is not an easy task from editor. K Manju was once again in the happiest mood. Rajesh Ramanath studio Sthayi has high quality equipments. That was even appreciated by AR Rahman. 38 days of re-recording was done for this film. Narasimha Arts is distributor and Kumar is exhibitor of the film is very good support for ‘God Father’ says K Manju.

Extremely thrilled personality is Sriram. At the first meeting of Upendra the enthusiasm he has shown and his home work for the tough roles – triple role is something wonderful I have seen in my life. It is Tamil actor Vikram who put me to producer K Manju. I would remember this film for the whole of my life.

It is like working three films of Upendra – a great opportunity says editor Basavaraj. For all the key contributors of this film ‘Adbudha’ should be added says Rajesh Ramanathan who has done the re-recording for the film.

Upendra in his speech disclosed that he liked the original of the film ‘God Father’ like the original of ‘Gowramma’. It was in my mind for five years. For the making director Sriram gets full credit. K Manju has blindly accepted the making of this film.

According to me persons like Prasad should come to Kannada cinema. He is an asset when distributor culture has almost gone felt Upendra.
